Douglas Rosenau
- Douglas Rosenau, Ed.D., is a licensed psychologist, marriage and family therapist and Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology (ABS). A pioneer in sex therapy, Dr. Rosenau is author of the bestselling book, A Celebration of Sex, and A Celebration of Sex for Newlyweds, and co-author of A Celebration of Sex after 50 and the recently released, Soul Virgins: Redefining Single Sexuality.
Doug is a full clinical member of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR) and an approved supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). Dr. Rosenau teaches Human Sexuality and Sex Therapy nationally as a popular conference speaker and as an adjunct professor at Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta, Georgia and at Reformed Theological Seminary at the Orlando and Jackson, Mississippi campuses. Doug is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.) and received his doctorate in counseling (Ed.D.) from Northern Illinois University. As co-founder of Sexual Wholeness (.com), Doug has helped to create the Institute for Sexual Wholeness that trains Christian sex therapists and educators, and creates teaching videos and materials. He has written numerous articles on healthy sexuality for such publications as Christian Counseling Today, Journal of Psychology and Christianity, and New Man.
Dr. Rosenau and his wife, Catherine, live in Atlanta, Georgia, and have a daughter, Merrill, and granddaughter Caitlyn, who is the apple of his eye. - www.sexualwholeness.com/
