Jack Herschend is the co-owner and co-founder of the Herschend Family Corporation, a theme park and family entertainment company. Their properties include; Silver Dollar City and White Water in Branson, Missouri, Stone Mountain Park in Georgia, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and many others. Since its humble beginnings 50 years ago, their company has become America's foremost privately held entertainment organizations. Mr. Herschend serves as the chairman, president and CEO and his deep caring for people has distinguished him from other business leaders around the world. He has a passion for personal service and is on the board of several church, civic and business organizations. He and his brother, Peter, have received numerous awards over the years including; induction into the International Association of Amusement Parks Attraction's Hall of Fame and the Ernst &Young Lifetime Achievement Award for Activism, Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

Jack and his wife Sherry met over 50 years ago at Silver Dollar City. Together they produced 3 sons, which led to 11 grandkids, and who knows how many future great-grandkids.
