Question: 
 
Is there such a thing as a “call to business?”  How can I know if I have 
such a call? 
 
Answer:  
 
Is there such a thing as a call to business? Normally, we think of that 
term being used with “a call to ministry” or “a call to some form of 
service,” but I realize that in my own case, I had a call to business 
that was just as real, just as authentic as a call to any other kind of 
ministry. When I realized that, I was able to work with my whole 
heart, as unto the Lord, in a business setting. 
 
So, yes, I believe there is a call, and that we’ll know when that call 
exists when we have the kind of sense of excitement, when we have a 
drawing to something, where we feel that we can be passionate about 
working in a particular arena.  
 
It doesn’t matter whether it’s business, or the arts, or music, or any 
kind of legitimate profession. If it’s a call of God, it’s a worthy call.
