Why is my husband so obsessed about certain sexual behavior? 
 
Answer: 
 
It’s funny. In my office sometimes I’ll get couples where the husband 
seems to be obsessed about some behavior.  
 
Just recently, before I could say anything, a couple was sitting on my 
couch, and she just bursts out, “I will never do it on an elevator!” And 
I thought, “Oh my, sweetie. You’ve been over this before, haven’t 
you?” 
 
It’s kind of funny and amusing to me that sometimes husbands, more 
than wives, get this idea that some sexual behavior is the be-all and 
end-all and is going to create cataclysmic orgasms or just be the 
passionate tension build-up. And you know what, guys? We just shoot 
ourselves in the foot at times. 
 
If we really get obsessed with one behavior, like this gal was saying, 
we have to be careful as husbands to really be sensitive, to realize that 
our lovemaking is mutual. 
 
Why, when we could help our wives be great lovers and truly enjoy 
their bodies and the lovemaking process—I’m just cautioning you, 
guys, be careful. You will get obsessed sometimes about some 
behavior. Let it go. Let it go. Encourage your wife to be the lover that 
she can be and really enjoy that mutuality and the lovemaking 
together.
